International Tender for Preparation of eAgrar Platform Published

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has opened the international tender for the software solution for eAgrar.

This pertains to the development of the platform for the online registration of over 400,000 agricultural properties and a more efficient management of payments of incentives in agriculture and rural development.

As the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia announced in early January, the digital platform eAgrar will start working in July.

The platform is being developed within the Competitive Agriculture project, financed by the World Bank.

According to the tender, eAgrar is the first big step toward creating an integrated administrative and control system of state incentives in agriculture, that is, a system for the implementation and control of direct payments and subsidies within the measures of rural development related to agricultural land.

eAgrar will consist of several software subsystems, among which are the Register of Subsidies, the Register of Farms, a documentation management subsystem, a web portal for application and a subsystem for the exchange of data between various registers, all of which are components that are necessary for the reception and processing of the requests for the realization of the rights to state subsidies.
