Turkish Tasyapi Building Roads in Serbia, Possibility of Investment in Energy Sector Announced Too

The minister of mining and energy of Serbia, Zorana Mihajlovic, has talked to the owner of the Turkish company Tasyapi, Emrullah Turanli, about the cooperation and investments in the energy infrastructure sector.

Said company is engaged on the construction of the part of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway from Sremska Raca to Kuzmin and the reconstruction of the Novi Pazar-Tutin road section.

Mihajlovic said that she would like to find a way to cooperate with this company in the field of energy as well.

– We have many projects and I believe that some of them will be attractive to your company – she said and reminded that Serbia was at the beginning of creating new energy infrastructure, since no new energy capacities were built in 30 years.

According to her, the space for investments is huge and these are projects worth over EUR 20 billion.

– The cooperation we realized while you were running the Ministry of Transport encourages us to invest in the energy sector as well. We want to continue talking about new projects and the possibilities of investing in that field – said Turanli, as announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.
