Bayern LB also wants to buy Panonska banka

According to “Financial Times Deutschland “ (FTD), the Office of German Bank BayernLB, Hungarian MKB bank, is interested in takeover of Serbia-based Panonska banka. There are ten parties, including BayernLB, interested in procurement of this Serbian bank in property of State. This was confirmed by the press agent of BayernLB in the conversation with FTD. The planned procurement in Serbia is considered to be introduction to intense expansion of that bank abroad. Serbia-based Panonska banka has 56 offices and about 100,000 clients. The analysts estimate its value to €50m. The strength of this Serbian bank lies in the, first of all, work with mid-sized enterprises. According to the German magazine, BayernLB would fit into that concept very well.
