JEEP Commerce put new metal-processing unit in operation - Investment worth EUR 3m

JEEP Commerce announced that it had put in operation a new metal-processing unit in the newly built hall at 5,000 square meters in Krnjaca. The main part of the unit is the line for sand blasting (cleaning) and anti-corrosive protection of steel pipes, sheet metal, carriers, and ready-made parts of steel structures. The investment worth over 3 million euros includes a sand blasting line, a hall, and complete infrastructure that is necessary for the work of this modern unit where ten new people will be employed.
The newly opened unit is situated within Jeep Commerce's servicing and distribution center in Krnjaca, 64a Pancevacki Put. The process of sand blasting and anti-corrosive protection is fully automated and computer-controlled, and it runs continuously from the moment the material enters to the moment it leaves the line. The line is constructed in such way that the technological process of cleaning and painting is completely in accordance with ecological norms, which means that there is, practically, no pollution.
- Namely, cleaning, for which steel shot is used, is done in one of the chambers, so that there is no dust that is characteristic for such cleaning. The structure and equipment in the hall, which are intentionally designed to make the sand blasting process easier, also contribute to the satisfaction of environmental standards - it is written in the statement.
