The facility of 19,500 m2 will serve as the City Hospital once the Covid-19 pandemic ends. The hospital will feature two operating rooms, an angiography room, two X-ray machines, two scanners, an endoscopy room, a laboratory, five outpatient clinics and eight dialysis points, RTV reports.
The director of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina (KCV), Edita Stokic, stated earlier for RTS that the first patients of the new Covid-hospital in Novi Sad would be the ones hospitalized at KCV at that moment.
Stokic says that the new hospital will have 616 beds, of which 212 in the intensive therapy unit and 404 belonging to the category of semi-intensive therapy. The hospital capacities will be doubled in the entire Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
The opening was attended by the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, the health minister of Serbia, Zlatibor Loncar, the mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, the provincial secretary, Zoran Gojkovic…
