Through the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency, the City of Belgrade started building the infrastructure for the new vaccine factory in Zemun yesterday morning, according to Goran Vesic, the deputy mayor of Belgrade.

– The value of the works is nearly RSD 1.4 billion, that is, nearly EUR 12 million, and the completion deadline period is 120 days, or four months – Vesic said, as announced on the portal of the City Administration.

According to him, the new traffic route with full infrastructure is being built from the recently built Grmec Nova 1 Street (S-12), from which it runs parallel with the highway to Soko Salas Street in the zone of the turning toward the Nikola Tesla Airport.

– With the construction of the infrastructure for the vaccine factory, we will increase the investors’ interest in the business zone along the highway, because now it will be much easier to attract the investors, since there will be traffic routes, as well as power, water, sewer and gas connections. This means that the investment in the vaccine factory is not just an investment in this factory, but also in at least 15-20 new industrial facilities which will be raised on this area, which is meant for the industry – said Goran Vesic.
