Chinese Company E-link Interested in Replacing Classic Measuring Devices with Modern Electronic Software in Serbia

The cooperation in the process of energy transition, the possibilities for investments in the RES sector, as well as the modernization and implementation of technological upgrades in the operations of Elektrodistribucija Srbije were the topics of the conversation between the minister of mining and energy, Zorana Mihajlovic, and representatives of the Chinese company E-link.

The representatives of the Chinese company were informed of the plan for the implementation of advanced measuring systems, which entails the replacement of classic measuring devices with electronic software, and they expressed the desire to take place in this project, as announced on the ministry’s website.

– We believe that Serbia is an important factor in the region, that it is an energy hub, and our idea is to cooperate more closely in the field of using the new technologies we’ve developed and which are used to monitor the operations and upgrade the distribution of electrical energy. We are also ready to take part in other projects which have to do with renewable energy resources, and we also want to talk about having our regional base for the production, development and cooperation with young talented people in Serbia – said Xuming Sun, the regional sales manager for east Europe at the company.
