Kovin Looking for Partner for Replacement and Maintenance of Public Lighting System – Project Worth RSD 380.6 Million

The Municipality of Kovin has opened the public invitation for a private partner and the awarding of the contract on the public-private partnership for the replacement, rationalization and maintenance of a part of the public lighting system by implementing energy saving measures in the territory of the Municipality of Kovin.

The estimated value of the works is RSD 380,588,263.

The subject of the PPP agreement is the financing of the expansion of the public lighting system and installation and carrying out of measures to the end of a more efficient use of energy, the accompanying reduction of CO2 emissions and a reduction of the operating costs of the functioning of a part of the public lighting system and a long-term maintenance of a part of the public lighting system of the Municipality of Kovin.

The project envisages the replacement of 4,982 lights in Mramorak, Deliblato, Gaj, Sumarak, Dubovac, Plocica, Skorenovac, Malo Bavaniste, Bavaniste and Kovin.

The agreement model envisages three phases of the realization of the obligations defined by the agreement – a preparatory period, an implementation period and a guarantee period.
