Serbia Among Most Demanded Destinations for Tourists from Emirates

This summer, residents of the United Arab Emirates will most likely decide to spend their vacations in Eastern Europe, and Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina top the list of the preferred destinations, whereas other favorites include Turkey, Georgia and Armenia, among others, as reported by Gulfnews, the most visited news portal in the United Arab Emirates.

– We can be proud of the reputation of Serbia in the Emirates. The next step is to keep building that good reputation and to strengthen the economic relations between Serbia and the UAE, but also the Western Balkans region and the countries of the Gulf – says Marko Selakovic, the head of the CCIS office in Dubai.

He reminded, the CCIS website reports, that, in 2020, Serbia was included on the list of recommended destinations for the citizens of Dubai, which also contributes to the increase of the number of tourists from that country, who see Serbia and the neighboring countries as interesting destinations, especially in the summer.

The advantages of popular East Eauropean destinations, Serbia included, are the simple process of getting a visa and the availability of various flight options, as pointed out by representatives of tourist agencies in Abu Dhabi. Serbia is the first country in Europe with which the UAE established a travel corridor, which means that the passengers no longer have to be quarantined upon arrival.
