Building enterprise "Primorje" from Ajdovscina published today (July, 13th, 2010) that it had been chosen in a public competition to build the bridge across the channel Port Milena near Ulcinj, of 570 meters length.

The value of this project is 14 million EUR and the investor is the Government of Montenegro.

The bridge will lead to Ulcinj beaches where larger tourist facilities should be built, and the investment should be closed in eighteen months.

- In this way, "Primorje" returns to the Montenegrin market, where it has built several bridges, including the famous "Union Bridge" and "Millennium" bridge across the river Moraca, in the range of 145 meters, one of the symbols of the city of Podgorica - said the President of the Management Board of "Primorje" Dusan Crnigoj.

The bridge of Ulcinj will have a steel made section in the middle in the range of 60 meters, which will be lifted by the need, thus allowing larger ships to sail through the channel of the river Bojana.

The designer of the bridge across the channel Port Milena is "DB Engineering", Belgrade. Total stroke length which is covered by the project amounts to 570 m of which: the bridge is long 350 m, the structure for passage roads towards Ulcinj is 40m, the structure for passage roads toward Ada Bojana is 25 m and the boulevard route has 155 m in length.

The bridge was designed with four traffic lanes of 3.25 m, separating zone of 2.0 m and a sided pedestrian lanes of 2.65 m each, so that its total width amounts to 20.30 m.

Enterprise from Ajdovscina is already building in Montenegro and it is restoring hydro technical objects in the system Perucica Hydroelectric Power Station on the river Zeta.
