This is What the Serbian Vaccine Factory Will Look Like

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on his Instagram profile yesterday what the Serbian vaccine factory, to be built with partners from the United Arab Emirates and China, would look like.

– This is what the Serbian vaccine factory that we are building with our partners from the UAE and China should look like. The construction of a facility for the production of PCR tests is to start soon as well – Vucic wrote and added that he was proud of the achievements of Serbia in medicine, pharmacy and healthcare.

As announced earlier, the factory for the production of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine is to be built by companies from China and the United Arab Emirates in the Belgrade area, and Serbia will provide land and infrastructure.

Serbian Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimovic said that the factory would be built under a turnkey system and that it would produce two million vaccines a month.

As he clarified, it the first three to four months after the opening of the factory, the vaccine will only be packaged in Serbia, until the technology for one of its components is mastered, Beta reported.

At the moment, according to him, one of the five locations is being considered, and the three known so far are on the Pancevo Road, on the road to the Belgrade Airport and on the road to Lazarevac.
