Through the project “Opportunities for Employment and Business Expansion”, realized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Municipality of Prokuplje, 100 young people will be trained to produce components on CNC milling machines and lathes, whereas 60 will be trained for tailoring and sewing jobs.

This project, financed by the Swiss government, is carried out in 11 countries, and Prokuplje is one of the three cities in Serbia taking part in it.

In addition to the IOM, the project is also carried out by the Roma Society of Prokuplje and the “15. maj” Technical School, where the project is realized. Thanks to the funds provided by the Swiss government, the school will get a new textile cabinet, machines worth 14,000 francs and computer equipment worth 6,000 francs.
