Italians finance construction of water supply network in Zaječar

Mayor of Zaječar, Boško Ničić, and president of Town Hall, Rajko Stevanović, are staying in Italy where they are going to sign contract with the representatives of Municipality of Monfalcone on financing of design of study on expansion of water supply system for village in Municipality of Zaječar. Before the trip to Italy, Ničić said that that was the first step towards situation in which villages in that Municipality, which were not included in the water supply system construction project financed by European Agency for Reconstruction, were connected to water supply network. The project implies construction of water supply system to border crossing Vrška Čuka towards Bulgaria, which would create conditions for construction of bis customs terminal. Municipality of Zaječar will set aside about €40,000 for the water supply project, whereas Italian partners will invest €160,000. Municipality of Monfalkone is a partner to Zaječar in realization of project "10 municipalities of Italy for 10 municipalities in the Balkans", which was invented by National Association of Italian Municipalities.
