Belgrade gets another square reconstructed - New lighting, stone slabs and furniture on the corner of Bircaninova, Katiceva and Bulevar oslobodjenja

Secretary for Investment Luka Petrovc stated that the works on the reconstruction of the square, bordered by Bircaninova, Katiceva and Bulevar oslobodjenja streets, are in their final phase, and that the value of the works is 34 million dinars.

- With the reconstruction of an area of about 1,400 m2, the space has been adjusted to the movement of pedestrians by increasing the sidewalk areas. The road surface and the parking lot are made of small stone cubes, and there are stone slabs on the sidewalks - Petrovic pointed out.

According to him, the entire area has been enriched with new street furniture and contains eight benches, places provided for parking bicycles, as well as new garbage cans. New LED street lighting was finished, nine additional trees were planted and new green areas were built, with low vegetation and trees.
