The European Commission has announced new deliveries of medical protective equipment from Slovakia and Germany to Serbia and Montenegro.

The delivery of PCR test from Slovakia to Serbia and Montenegro, 15 thousand to each, which are to be accompanied with beds, blankets and towels, has been announced.

At the same time, Germany will send disinfectants for hands and surfaces to Serbia, the European Commission says.

It is added that, through the Mechanism for Civilian Protection, the EU is sending medical gloves, masks and coveralls to Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, after these countries asked for help.

The costs of the procurement, storage and transport of this medical equipment are to be fully covered by the European Commission.
