International Tender for Consultant for Founding of Montenegrin National Airline Carrier This Week

The Government of Montenegro will open an international tender for the consultant for the founding of the new national airline carrier ToMontenegro by the end of this week, the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare announced.

As they point out, the hard work of the team of the Government of Montenegro whose task it is to launch a new national airline carrier is showing results.

– Considering the progress that we’ve made when it comes to ToMontenegro by working day and night, this week we are moving on to the second phase of putting the new national airline carrier into operation, so an international tender for the consultant will be opened – said minister Milojko Spasic.

Spajic commented on the incorrect allegations in certain media regarding the choice of the consultant.

– Considering the new situation in our country, we have inevitably been contacted by numerous consultants about the burning issues. The frequency of the news and information about the founding of the new national airline carrier has drawn a lot of attention, on the level of the global media, so it’s natural that the relevant persons and institutions would be interested in this issue as well. Let me emphasize once again – the transparency and honest business are the two main principles of this government and they will be implemented in this case too – the minister said.

The government once again confirmed that no consultant had been chosen. They emphasized that all the processes of hiring a consultant would be transparent and professional.

– Also, unlike the previous government, we will take care to have the price of hiring be a minimum price for the given service/quality ratio – Spajic said.

He also pointed out that the government, using its own example, within the ministries, had shown that it is oriented toward bringing people back to Montenegro.

– We are proud of the quality and the quantity of the experts that are applying and their contribution to these historical changes in our society – Spajic concludes.
