Technical Acceptance of Gold Gondola Zlatibor Goes Without Complaint – Official Opening in Late December

One of the largest projects in the Municipality of Cajetina, Gold Gondola, will start operating at the end of 2020, says Arsen Djuric, the president of the Municipal Assembly of Cajetina.

– The landscaping works are finished, the gates are set up, the programs for entry control and ticket sale are installed, so all the conditions are met for the gondola to be put into operation between December 20 and 25, when it should officially open for visitors – Djuric said.

Gold Gondola is the tourist project of the decade on Zlatibor, worth EUR 13 million, and one of the capital investments of the Municipality of Cajetina.

The total capacity of the gondola, for now, is 600 passengers per hour. A gondola ride will provide an impressive 25 minutes with an incredible view to the picturesque landscapes of Zlatibor. The route starts in the center of Zlatibor, goes through the Ribnica Lake and ends at the Tornik peak.
