Investors Interested in Investing in Ruma – Gresto Soon to Start Producing, Health Care Expanding Capacities

Among the 25 companies that have built their facilities in Ruma in the past few years is also the Italian Technosteel & Consulting since this month, which bought a parcel of two hectares for the construction of a factory in the municipality’s industrial zone. The latest investment in Ruma is not the only one at the moment, according to the president of the municipality, Sladjan Mancic. He says that the territory of the Municipality of Ruma still has a favorable business climate for investments, that there are investors and that there’s good cooperation with the economy.

– We will also sign an agreement with the company Health Care very soon, and the company is to expand further. Health Care has been operating in our territory since 2014 and employs nearly 1,300 workers at the moment, has indoor facilities of 70,000 square meters and is to expand its capacities by a new 20,000 square meters and employ 300 workers – Mancic says.

The local self-government points out that they realized the importance of equipping industrial zones on time and that there are nearly no companies there that are not planning to expand their facilities. The new facility of the Dutch-Macedonian company Gresto is to begin operating in the best equipped zone of this municipality, called Rumska Petlja. The investment worth EUR 2 million will provide jobs for 150 highly educated people, but also for numerous households active in greenhouse production.
