Faculties from Belgrade and Novi Sad participate in revitalization and remodeling of Kastel fortress in Banja Luka

The Faculty of Architecture from Belgrade, the Technical Faculty of Architecture from Novi Sad and company Građenje from East Sarajevo have won the public contest for elaboration of the preliminary project for revitalization and remodeling of Kastel fortress in Banja Luka.

On March 26, Zoran Popić, CEO of Građenje, signed the contract for the project technical documentation development on behalf of the winning team with Banja Luka's Mayor Dragoljub Davidović. The value of the contract is 556,919.5 EUR, while the deadline for its realization is two years.

The contract specifies that the technical documentation will be developed for the next ten individual projects for revitalization and remodeling of spatial units within Kastel fortress: hotel with accompanying contents, Cultural center Ljetna Pozornica (Summer Stage), Catering center, Tourist-info center, city square, public garage and related space, sports-recreation center, city garden, coastal area and museum.
