Property of Zastava Special Vehicles Factory in Sombor up for Sale

The Sombor-based factory of special vehicles Zastava Specijalni Automobili in bankruptcy has advertised the sale of property and the bankruptcy debtor as a legal entity. The sale will be carried out through a public collection of bids.

Up for sale are buildings and technological equipment, and the property is split into three lots. The estimated value of the first lot is around RSD 317 million, the second is worth around 304 million, whereas the third has been estimated at slightly over 112 million.

According to the ad, the property is to be bought as seen and can be viewed after the purchase of the sales documentation, every day between 9 am and 15 am, until November 11.

Bids may be submitted by November 18, for when the opening of the bids is scheduled too.

The bankruptcy proceedings at Zastava Specijalni Automobili, which used to produce Zastava's special vehicles Skala and Florida Poly, started in 2016 after unsuccessful attempts at a sale and restructuring.

The production of special cars stopped in 2010.
