Swisslion Takovo opens two new factories within next month

- Two new factories for production of meat and ice-cream in Gornji Milanovac will be put in operation within next 30 days - Rodoljub Drašković, the owner of Swisslion Takovo, announced in his statement for emg.rs.

- Over 1,000 people will be working in new factories, while total investment amounts to about 2m EUR - said Drašković.

When asked if that money could have been invested in the recovery of meat factory Mitros in Sremska Mitrovica, which is also in his possession, instead in completely new factories, Drašković said that he did not want to finance lossmakers.

- Nobody wants to finance lossmakers any more, and we have been supporting that company for six years now. Somebody works and makes profit, while somebody else does nothing and makes losses. The one who makes losses will have to search for a new job, like Mitros, which owes the most to the creditors from business system SL Takovo. In the cases that do not have any market prospects, bankruptcy is the healthiest economic program if no rehabilitation is possible - said the owner of SL Takovo and added that he expected the bankruptcy proceedings in Belgrade and Čačak to be ended very soon.
