China's Trade Surplus Exceeds USD 60 Billion

China's external trade surplus, according to official data, amounted to around USD 60 billion (424 billion yuan) in May.

Trade income amounted to 1.59 thousand billion yuan, whereas expenditures amounted to 1.17 thousand billion yuan, announced the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, as reported by China Radio International (CRI).

Goods trade income amounted to 1.46 trillion yuan, whereas expenditures amounted to 965 billion yuan. Trade surplus reached 494.2 billion yuan.

At the same time, service trade deficit amounted to 70.2 billion yuan.
