Another six privatization contracts terminated

The Privatization Agency of Serbia announced yesterday (February 5, 2010) that it had terminated the contracts on privatization of six companies.

It is stated in the announcement that the Agency has terminated the contracts on sale of Veterinarian Station Priboj, company Vodovod from Niš, Prehrane from Sremska Mitrovica, Elektroservis from Petrovaradin, Utva Mepro from Padina and Belgrade-based company Beoinduplati.

It is pointed out that the contracts have been terminated because the owners failed to fulfill the obligations related to payment of installments, investments in privatized companies and maintenance of continuity of operations.

In accordance with the Law, the capital of these companies, the subject of privatization, is transferred to the Share Fund of Serbia.
