Canadian "Reservoir Capital" to do feasibility study for construction of run-of-river power stations - precondition is construction of two new hydroelectric power plants on the Lim


- Canadian company "Reservoir Capital" plans to build two hydroelectric power plants on the Lim, near Prijepolje, of total power of 48 MW - the Vice President of that company, Nenad Radoja, said on January 6th, 2010.
As Radoja explained, the feasibility studies for construction of run-of-river power stations "Brodarevo 1" and "Brodarevo 2" are being done at the moment.
As people from the Canadian company told "Beta" agency, if the feasibility studies are positive, documentation for hydroelectric power plants will be made this year and about 150m USD will be invested in them.
- Numerous geophysical, hydrological and ecological tests were performed for the needs of the feasibility studies, and all the data obtained in that way will be analyzed by economists and energy experts - said the people from company "Reservoir Capital" .
The CEO of "Reservoir Capital", Miljana Vidović, told "Beta" that that company was currently competing for several hydropower projects in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
