Only Food and Cigarettes Produced at Full Capacity in Nis

Producers of food and tobacco are working at full capacity in Nis, whereas others are mostly not operational, the director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Nis, Aleksandar Milicevic, stated today.

According to him, the automotive industry is mostly not working, whereas the textile companies are suspending the production as the demand has dried up.

– The situation is changing constantly, some have stopped, whereas some are beginning to work, but there's more of the former. Among those that have resumed operations is Johnson Electric, thanks to orders from China. Of the large facilities, IMI and Zumtobel are still working, whereas Yura and Yura Shin Won are not – Milicevic told Beta.
