Companies Allowed to Import Masks and Equipment, but Only for Own Needs

The Serbian government stated today that companies are allowed to purchase masks and protective equipment from foreign markets, regardless of the company’s field of activity.

– All companies in the territory of the Republic of Serbia can import masks and protective equipment solely for their own needs – for the protection of health of their employees. This has been allowed with a clear restriction that distribution is not allowed, sale to third persons, or any kind of trade in those masks and protective equipment – the press release says.

This decision was made due to the current situation in Serbia and the fight against the spread of the infectious disease caused by the COVID-19 virus, the government says.
