Dragomir Karić assumed position of CEO in one of companies within Russian oil-gas company "Itera"

According to Moscow's daily newspaper "Komersant", Russian oil-gas company "Itera" has appointed Dragomir Karić as the CEO of its company for development of real estate projects.

Karić confirmed that information in his statement for that newspaper.

- Yes, I have assumed the position of the CEO in the company that will be responsible for the building assets of "Itera" - Karić told that newspaper without revealing any more details.

"Komersant" writes that people in "Itera development group" said that Karić had assumed the duty of the president of company "Itera investment construction and development".

The newspaper also writes that Karić and his brothers were considered some of the most influential businessmen in Serbia at the time of Slobodan Milošević.

According to the newspaper, Serbian businessman is to resolve two very important issues.

He is to put an end to the conflict between "Itera" and former head of the real estate project department, Valeri Korotkov, concerning the division of assets, and to provide measures for all of the company's Moscow-based projects and find the funds for realization of building projects, the largest of which - "Minsk-City", requires 4.8 billion USD. The company's price in 2008 amounted to about 2 billion USD.
