The Municipality of Raca put into operation the new water factory on December 27, 2019, and the Institute for Health Protection of Kragujevac confirmed that the water was of required quality on January 9, the president of the municipality, Nenad Savkovic, said for eKapija.

As he added, the project documentation for the reconstruction of the entire waterworks in Raca has been completed as well, and the works will cost EUR 2 million.

– The project is completed and the building permit has been issued. We expect the Public Investment Management Office to open the public procurement procedure in the upcoming period – Savkovic told eKapija.

In the past three years, the Government of Serbia has invested RSD 56 million in the new water factory and the forming of two new wells.

Let us remind that the “Nas med” facility for the collection and selling of honey, which is being built by the Beekeeping Association of Serbia, in cooperation with the municipality of Raca, should soon start operating in this municipality.
