"Hill International" designed justification study on construction of Romanian part of Konstanca-Pančevo-Omišalj-Trieste oil pipeline

"Hill International" company completed technical and economic justification study on construction of Romanian part of Konstanca-Pančevo-Omišalj-Trieste oil pipeline. In 2003, Romania received about 2 million EUR in the scope of program "Far" of EU. "Hill International" company estimates that "Kompanija projekta" should be formed as soon as possible. It will deal with finding of resources for financing of that project. "Hill International" company also wants international agreement signed by countries participants at the project as soon as possible.

There is possibility that the construction of oil pipeline will commence at the end of 2005 and that it will be completed between the year 2012 and 2014.

Projected length of the oil pipeline, which should be used for transportation of oil from the Caspian Sea to European market, is 1,360 km and its capacity will be 112 million tons of crude oil on annual basis. www.hillintl.com
