Ub to get another children’s and tornado pool – Municipality inviting bids for reconstruction of bathing resort

The city pool in Ub will soon get numerous new features, such as another children’s pool, but also a tornado pool. The Municipality of Ub has opened a public procurement procedure for the reconstruction and extension, which should be carried out in four phases according to the plan, and the funds have been provided from the municipal budget.

The first phase entails the reconstruction of the existing facility and the adaptation to the planned increase in the number of users, as well as the reconstruction of the Olympic pool and the children’s pool, the construction of a new underground compensation reservoir for the reconstructed pools and the reconstruction of the area around the pools.

The second phase entails the construction of pools with waterslides, the construction of a children’s pool with various features, the construction of an underground machine room with compensation reservoirs, a room for neutralization, electrolysis and a sludge pit, all for a pool with waterslides, a children’s pool with various features and a tornado pool. The neutralization is envisaged for both the new and the existing pools.

The third phase entails the construction of a tornado pool and the development of the area around said pools, and the bid submission deadline is February 5, 2020.
