Zastava Weapons and American company Remington - strategy partners

The President of the American weapons company, Remington Thomas Milner, and the general manager of Zastava Weapons, Dragoljub Grujovic, have signed in Kragujevac a Document about agreement, which represents a start of a strategy partnership of the two companies. Besides that, Zastava Weapons and the American company US Sporting goods (the official importer of Remington) have signed a comercial contract for the following year, by which Zastava is suppose to offer to the buyers from America, Canada and Mexico 24.000 of hunting carabines and small caliber rifles in the total value of 3.2 milions of dollars.
Apart from appearing together at the North-american and Mexican market, under the name Remington by Zastava, the contract also represents a commune manufacture of hunting and sports weapons of the two companies, and the exchange of technologies and technical-technological innovations as well as a coordination in the management and experts' work. The cooperation of Zastava and Remington will be soon expanded, as announced, within the area of manufacture of parts and components for Remington's arms in Kragujevac.
