Tender announced for sale of company "Prim" from Kostolac


The Privatization Agency has announced the tender for sale of 70% of capital of company "Prim" from Kostolac, which deals with production, overhaul and installation of machines and equipment.
The requests for purchase of tender documentation can be submitted prior to December 25th, 2009, and the deadline for delivery of obligatory bids, with the banking guarantee of 200,000 EUR, expires on February 12th, 2010.
All companies that have been dealing with general mechanical works or metal processing over the last three years and registered incomes of over 20m EUR in 2008 can participate in the tender, as well as those that deal with production and overhaul of machines for mines, quarries and building sector, that is, electric motors, generators and transformers.
Company "Prim" was founded in 2003 by public companies "Površinski kopovi" and Steam Power Plants from Kostolac, and it operates as an independent company since 2005.
The company's incomes in 2008 amounted to about 11.2m EUR, while the incomes in 2007 were 7.2m EUR.
"Prim", which has over 700 employees, owns the facilities at 19,945 square meters in Kostolac.
