Tender announced for Port "Bar"

The Privatization Council of the Government of Montenegro announced the tender today (October 21, 2009) for sale of 54.05% of stocks of Bar-based company "Kontejnerski terminal i generalni tereti" (Container Terminal and General Freights) and allotment of concession on period of 30 years, which includes an investment obligation.
The tender was also announced for sale of whole property of companies "Pomorski poslovi" and "Obezbeđenje i protivpožarna zaštita", which belong to Port "Bar", with the allotment of concessions on period of 30 years.
The tender will be open prior to February 1st, 2010.
All companies that have been reloading minimum 2m tons of general freight per year over the last five years have the right to bid on the tender if they buy the tender dossier, which costs 20,000 EUR, and sign the non-disclosure agreement.
The condition is also that the bidder's incomes in 2008 amounted to minimum 250m EUR, as well as that it operated with profit in the last three years.
The bidder is obliged to pay the deposit or submit the guarantee worth 200,000 EUR.
The deposit, that is, the guarantee for participation in the tender for "Pomorski poslovi" and "Obezbeđenje" amounts to 50,000 EUR.
