The President of the Administration of Croatian "Nexe Group", Ivan Ergović, said at the opening of the Concrete factory in Novi Sad that 2.5m EUR had been invested in that factory since 2007.

Ergović said that he was proud of the fact that that factory met all environmental standards, and he added that it would be producing fresh concrete of the highest quality.

He said that "Nexe Group" had recently bought another concrete factory in Belgrade, which would make it possible for "Nexe" to become the leader in production of concrete in Serbia.

The Concrete factory in Novi Sad is the first greenfield investment of "Nexe Group" in Serbia, and it is the first factory of the kind in Serbia with the installed production capacity of 80 cubic meters of fresh concrete per hour.

The Concrete factory is fully automated. In addition to modern equipment for production of fresh concrete, it also owns truck-mixers for transportation of concrete and pumps for installation of concrete.

It is also equipped with the laboratory equipment for control of input raw materials, and it meets the requests of European standard EN 206-1.
