Slovakian company to build brewery in Beocin – Investment worth EUR 40 million, jobs for 300 workers

The Municipality of Beocin and the Slovakian company Architecture and Design Company Ltd. have signed a protocol of cooperation and investment in this municipality.

The protocol pertains to defining mutual intentions and common goals related to the investor's plan for the building of a brewery, production and packing of mineral water and juices, production of malt and syrup, production of glass packaging, cellulose and paper, construction of a hops facility, separation of municipal waste. In each of the said locations, the plan is to build a waste water treatment facility and employ around 300 workers from the territory of the municipality of Beocin.

The value of the planned investments is EUR 40 million, with the possibility of expansion.

– It was agreed for the next meeting to be held within a month, by which time the municipality of Beocin will have formed an expert team which will carry out activities related to the investment and provide all the support the investor needs – it is said on the website of the municipality.

The agreement was signed by the president of the municipality of Beocin, Mitar Milinkovic, and the representative of the Slovakian company, Frantisek Kurilla.
