Festival of Organic Products Biofest from October 2-4 in Subotica

The Traditional International Festival of Organic Products Biofest will be held in Subotica for the 15th time from October 2 to 4.

The opening ceremony and the handing out of the awards for the best producer and the best product are planned for October 2 at 11 am at the Open University in Subotica.

Afterwards, the participants will be able to attend the panel discussion titled “The Importance of Association of Agriculturists for the Development of Organic Agriculture in the Region”.

The seminar titled “The Importance of Marketing and Brand Positioning in Organic Production” will be organized as well, as will be a visit to the organic farm of Sabolc Truzinski near Backa Topola.

On Thursday, October 3, the seminar titled “The Influence of Agri-Eco-Ethno Tourism on the Strengthening of the Capacities of Organic Producers – Examples of Good Practice” will be organized, as will be an educational visit to Brkin Salas in Cenej.

On Friday, October 4, the environmental documentary “Waste Basket Delicacies” will be screened.

An exhibit of organic products will be open throughout the three days.
