Internet development center "Teknuvo" to be opened in Belgrade by end of year


- Internet development center "Teknuvo" should be opened in Belgrade at the end of autumn 2009 - it is announced on the website for online sales "Cheap today" (www.cheaptoday.com).
- "Teknuvo" development center will make it possible for Serbian talents to work on the latest Internet technologies, while Boston-based companies, such as website "Cheap today", will get the opportunity to cut the expenses of software development - said one of the founders of "Cheap today", Serbian-American businessman Milenko Bešlić.
The Center will be helping Boston-based companies improve their online operations by supplying them with new Internet technologies and methods for Internet marketing, and it will also cooperate with Serbian University in order for the students to acquire technical knowledge and skills that are necessary for cooperation with US companies.
Support to the Center will also be given by the Ministry of Telecommunications and IT Society of Serbia and the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Serbia (SIEPA).
It is stated in the announcement that Serbia is famous in east Europe for its IT experts, and that there are over 2,700 IT companies in Serbia that offer broad assortment of services.
The Minister of Telecommunications of Serbia, Jasna Matić, said that the new development center would serve as the model for connecting talented Serbian experts for information technologies with renowned western companies.
