New 1.7m EUR worth of ship for Dutchmen to arrive from Bački Monoštor

Another ship for the permanent partner from Netherlands was launched yesterday (September 22, 2009) from the shipyard in Bački Monoštor, near Sombor. The chief of the shipyard, Adam Ninkov, told "Danas" that that ship weighed about 700 tons, that it was 11.4 meters wide and 80 meters long.
This ship will be used for extraction of sand and gravel, and it is the first of the kind produced in Bački Monoštor. Construction of this vessel lasted for five months, with much effort invested and overtime hours worked, and its value is about 1.7m EUR.
Another ship, 136 meters long, is being prepared for the buyer in Netherlands. This vessel, which consists of two parts, is being built in Bački Monoštor and in Apatin, and the assembling of the two parts will take place in Apatin in March.
