Vadim Jakovljev - new President of Administrative Board of NIS

The Administrative Board of "Petroleum Industry of Serbia" (NIS) appointed Vadim Jakovljev as the new President on Friday (July 31, 2009). Mr. Jakovljev is former member of the Administrative Board of NIS and the Deputy Director General of "Gazpromneft".
Jakovljev replaced Dmitrij Mališev at the position of the President of the Administrative Board of NIS, while Mr. Mališev is going to work on other projects of company "Gazpromneft".
Dmitrij Mališev was also working as an adviser of the Director General of "Gazpromneft" and he ran negotiations on purchase of 51% of stocks of NIS.
It is stated in the announcement that the appointment of Mr. Jakovljev as the President of the Administrative Board "represents an important step towards strengthening of presence of the highest management of 'Gazpromneft' in the managerial team of NIS".
- Our next task is to make a quality move in development of the company's operations in order to ensure strengthening of the position of regional leader in field of petroleum industry - said Vadim Jakovljev after the appointment.
Vadim Jakovljev, born in 1970, worked for audit company "PricewaterhouseCoopers" in the period between 1995 and 2000. In 2001 and 2002, he worked as the deputy manager of finance-economic sector in company "Jukos EP". He was the Finance Manager of company "Jugansknjeftgas" in NK Jukos in 2003 and 2004, and the Deputy Director General in company Sibur - Ruski točkovi in 2005 and 2006.
