Summer university "Danubia" started tour in Belgrade

- The students of economy and business administration from central and east Europe have gathered for the ninth consecutive year within the scope of Summer university "Danubia", of which patrons are Erste Group Bank AG and the Faculty of Economy and Business (WU) from Vienna - "Erste group" announced.

Summer university "Danubia" started the tour in Belgrade, for the first time ever, with the lectures and opening ceremony at the Faculty of Economy. Within the scope of this year's programme "Danubia", our capital city will be this week's host of students from eight partner universities (Belgrade, Zagreb, Budapest, Prague, Kiev, Bucharest, Bratislava and Vienna), and they will be able to get familiar with the unique method for transfer of knowledge at high level, as well as to directly gain experience and knowledge of various cultures.

Total of 56 students who have showed advanced knowledge in fields of HR management and financial services will take part in Summer University "Danubia", of which this year's hosts are the departments of economy and business from five partner universities: Belgrade, Zagreb, Budpest, Prague and Vienna.

Within the scope of academic programme "Danubia", students are offered academic seminars, as well as great opportunity for networking. Also, experts of "Erste Group" from certain bank offices are running practical workshops, which makes it possible for the students to gain direct experience related to banking sector in the region of Central and East Europe. Summer university is supplemented with rich cultural programme and accompanying programmes.

The tour will be resumed in Zagreb, Budapest and Prague in July, and this year's closing ceremony will be held on July 29 in Vienna.
