Turkish factory Maydenim Tekstil in Mali Zvornik to be put into operation in early June

The development of the space at the industrial zone in Mali Zvornik meant for the textile factory which the Turkish company Maydenim Tekstil should open in mid-2019, employing 500 workers there, with the support of the Republic of Serbia and the Municipality of Mali Zvornik, is going according to plan.

According to the president of the Municipality of Mali Zvornik, Zoran Jevtic, the agreements on the realization of a new phase of works were signed on February 26 with a representative of the group of bidders which won the contract at a public procurement procedure.


He said that the contractors had been given keys to the facilities at the construction site so that they would be able to carry out the necessary preparations and continue adapting the space and building the remaining facilities 20 days after the preparation of the project documentation. The work completion deadline is 45 calendar days.
