Mona Plaza to open in October 2019 – Renovation of hotels Zlatibor Mona and Javor planned as well

(Future look of Hotel Mona Plaza) Hotel Mona Plaza, which is being built in Dorcol, will open in October 2019, Mona Hotel Management announced.

This company presented its offer to the visitors of the 41st International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, and as they said for eKapija, the preparations for the opening of the new hotel are well on their way.

– What’s certainly in our focus at the fair and what we will intensively work on in the upcoming period is our future Hotel Mona Plaza, which we will open in October in lower Dorcol. The preparations are in progress, the hotel will have 170 rooms, large congress capacities of 2,000 m2 and be suitable for all kinds of events, whether ceremonies of congress events. Hotel Mona Plaza will be able to meet the needs of all guests who arrive to Belgrade in a private or a business capacity – Milica Stojanovic of Mona Hotel Management said for eKapija.

In addition to the new hotel, Mona Hotel Management also presented its other hotels at the fair.

– As every year, we present the portfolio of the facilities in our ownership. First of all, there’s Hotel Zlatibor Mona, which is well known to everyone, Hotel Argo in Belgrade, Hotel Javor in Kusici and Villa Bella apartments in Budva. Still, the focus is on the new Hotel Mona Plaza – Stojanovic says.

The opening of the hotel in Belgrade will not be the only investment the company plans in the upcoming period.

– Next year, we are planning a large investment in Hotel Zlatibor Mona. The hotel will be turned into a Mona Plaza brand, so we are planning a full renovation of it. Another investment ahead of us pertains to Hotel Javor, which will be renovated in 2021. The plan is to expand the capacities of this hotel and raise its category from two to three stars. All these are very important projects for the entire company and will lead to a significant improvement in the upcoming period – Milica Stojanovic pointed out.
