Public call for lease of hotel bathing areas in Montenegro opened

The Montenegro Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management has opened a public call for the submission of bids for the lease of hotel bathing areas in the Montenegrin coastal area.

As said in the public call, six bathing areas in front of hotels are being leased in the territory of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, as well as two in Kotor and two in Tivat. A total of 17 bathing areas are being leased in the territory of the Municipality of Budva, including hotels in Becici, Petrovac and Rafailovici. Interested lessees may also bid for eight bathing areas in the Municipality of Bar, including those in front of hotels in Sutomore, Canj and Dobre Vode. The offer also includes two bathing areas in the Municipality of Ulcinj.

Eligible bidders are owners of lessees of high-category hotels (5- and 4-star hotels and hotel resort). A hotel can only lease one bathing area, in line with the hotel's capacity. In case two bidders gain an equal number of points, the higher-category, higher-capacity hotel is given an advantage.

Contracts are signed for the current year, counting from the day of the signing until December 31, 2019. There's also the possibility of an annual extension in a four-year period, that is, by December 31, 2023. The bidder may be a local or a foreign natural person, company, legal person or entrepreneur, individually, or as a group of bidders in the form of a consortium.
