Victoria Group to take over remaining Sojaprotein shares

Victoria Group announced its intention to take over the remaining 4,389,459 shares of Sojaprotein, that is, the remaining 31.82% stake in the Becej-based company, at the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, January 25.

The group currently owns 9,403,674 shares, or 68.18%. The press release says that the group obliges to file a request to the Securities Commission for the authorization of the announcement of the share takeover bid within 15 working days and that the bid will be announced immediately, no later than the working day following the reception of the authorization of the Securities Commission.


Victoria Group, which features eight companies, is in the business of buying and selling oil plants and grains and processing non-GMO soy, sunflower and rapeseed. It sells its products in the local market and 53 foreign markets.

It is one of the 15 biggest exporters from Serbia, with EUR 130 million worth of exports in 2018, according to the latest data of the Ministry of Finance.
