"Visaris" presented new generation of "Vision" instruments at Serbian Radiology Congress in Novi Sad

Company "Visaris", the only local manufacturer of modern digital X-ray machines and systems for digital acquisition of radiology images, presented the new generation of "Vision" instruments at the second Serbian Radiology Congress in Novi Sad, which lasts until May 27th.

"Vision" instruments are based on broad palette of proved "Visaris" products in field of digial radiology and radiology informatics. New functional solutions and new achievements in industrial design have been implemented in the new generation of instruments.

By giving lecture on "Digital Working Process in Radiography", Dr. Vladimir Petrović, the Director of Working Process Development and one of the owners of company "Visaris", pointed to the significance of the started process of introduction of medical information system and electronic medical files in Serbia.

During his lecture, Dr. Petrović also emphasized numerous advantages of electronic working process, such as more efficient work of radiology wards, possibility of exchange and analysis of images via Internet, as well as electronic filing of images.

He also pointed to financial savings as the result of elimination of films, hypos, developers and other chemicals. Introduction of electronic operations in radiology wards is also desirable from the environmental point of view because there is no need for the substances that represent serious environment pollutants.
