Portal "eKapija" – the best media business partner in the region

Business-investment portal "eKapija" has won prestigious annual award "Media Business Partner 2009", which is granted by "Mass Media International" for exceptional support to business subjects in the region of Southeastern Europe.

“Portal ‘eKapija’ enabled simplified access to the information that are important for its clients’ business, the portal showed high level of professionalism and morality, it respected its business partners and clients and, thus, contributed to better networking of business subjects and economic prosperity in the region”, it is stated in the commission’s explanation.

The Director General of "eKapija", Zdravko Lončar, said that "Media Business Partner 2009" award was another proof that "eKapija" was the leading business portal in Serbia with over 14,500 subscribers.

- The name of the award we won this year is our everyday goal and primary task. We do our best to stay constant and reliable partner to the business in Serbia and in the region with the information we offer, to help every participant in the market find new ideas and business contacts and keep him or her up to date with the latest events in the sector. The growth of subscribers by 40% over the last year confirms that we have succeeded, and it also motivates us to become even faster and better. The greatest proof of our clients’ trust is the coefficient of subscription renewal, which amounts to 80% - said Lončar and pointed out that the financial growth by 44% had been registered in 2008.

According to the data provided by portals www.alexa.com and www.alexa-rs.com, eKapija ranks first among the business portals in Serbia. The users daily read about 45,200 documents, browse through 32,500 data, while the catalogue of companies includes the information on more than 100,000 commercial subjects.

The average annual production amounts to 19,000 news and reports and 26,000 tenders. All information on "eKapija" portal are available in Serbian, English and German language.

- Portal "eKapija" plans regional expansion, we already have national project www.ekapija.ba developed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the appearance in Croatia and Macedonia is in the pipeline – Lončar announced.
