Trade Fair of Technology and Technical Achievements opened in Belgrade


The 53rd Trade Fair of Technology and Technical Achievements, which gathers over 850 exhibitors from 24 countries, was opened today (May 11, 2009) in Belgrade.
This year’s trade fair, which will be held under slogan “It is natural to love technology”, will see the presentation of about 200 technical innovations.
The Technology Expo was opened by the Sales Manager of Swiss company "Beck automation", Marko Varsini, who said that that manifestation was important because "it enables access to the market of Southeast Europe".
According to the organizers’ announcements, the largest number of exhibitors will come from Germany, Slovenia and Czech Republic. National exhibitions at the Trade Fair of Technology and Technical Achievements will be organized by Czech Republic, German region of Hessen, Russia, Slovakia, while the companies from Croatia and Hungary will have collective appearance.
This year’s Expo offers modern technology from the domains of automation, wireless communications, renewable sources, energy saving, etc.
According to the announcement, the most successful exhibitors will receive certificate “Step into the Future ".
The Expo will be opened every day between 10 AM and 6 PM, except on the last day (Friday, May 15th) when the gate will be closed on 5 PM. The price of ticket is 500 RSD, while the price of parking amounts to 100 RSD per hour.
The Technology Expo is the oldest big manifestation at the Belgrade Trade Fair, and the first one was held in 1937. It is a member of the International Union of Trade Fairs (UFI).
