The unique gastronomic and creative spirit of the capital of Belgrade is showcased on an area of around a thousand square meters. Aside from good food and drinks, Belgrade Market will feature thematic events where small enterprises will present their local products.
– We have six restaurants, two craft breweries, a flower shop and specialized bars, providing local and foreign guests with what we believe is the best Belgrade has to offer in one place – said Mihailo Stevanovic, the director of Belgrade Market.
– Citizens and guests of Belgrade will be able to attend festivals and workshops and shop at stores. Furthermore, we are preparing the first urban distillery, where guests will be able to take part in the process of making rakija – he added.
According to him, in the rakija “lab”, which should start operating in two weeks, guests will be able to make their own rakija with the help of the staff. Interested guests will take part in workshops and tasting sessions, and tourists will learn more about the process of the making of Serbia's traditional drink.
