Confinustria Serbia, the Association of Italian Industrialists, organizes the annual conference called Cyber Security – How to Confront New Challenges in Business and Banking Sector on November 8.
In global business, it is increasingly important to focus on how to control crucial information and its safe traffic. While those data are essential to the proper functioning of business activities, numerous cyber attacks which can damage any financial, TC or institutional system in the world are growing more numerous. Considering such challenges and potential threats, no effort is too expensive or demanding when it comes to countering and limiting cyber attacks. At any moment, millions of transactions and pieces of information “flow” through the internet.
Data have become the most valuable object of protection, and cyber security in all its aspects is something that needs to be evaluated, protected and developed at the maximum speed. The cyber space is safe and useful to all only if all participants are aware of the risk: without the awareness, any technical solution loses its importance and effect.
The Cyber Security conference is one of the first conferences of this kind in the Balkans and is dedicated to the development of the awareness of the fact that we need to share our experiences and gather global experts to show us the way to a safer future when it comes to the transfer of data, financial transactions and TC systems, regarding both software and hardware.
This year's conference of Confindustria Serbia is the third conference of this type in the digital sphere, after DEC and DIGINDEC, which were organized in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Confindustria Serbia aims to highlight the importance of cyber security in the sector of finances and telecommunications, whereas a part of the discussion will focus on the importance of the establishment of strategic partnership to the end of raising awareness of the importance of cyber security.
The attendees will be addressed by Erich Cossutta, the president of Confindustria Serbia, Nenad Popovic, the minister of innovations and technological development, and Sergio Monti, a counselor and the deputy chief of mission at the Embassy of Italy in Serbia.
