The closing of the factory in Augsburg will also lead to the loss of 1,500 jobs at the facility, a Fujitsu PR announced.
Another 300 jobs in German subcontractors are jeopardized too.
As B92 reports, the Japanese company will thereby fully close down its production and assembly capacities in Germany and move product development, assembly and logistics to Japan.
The Japanese company points out that the factory is the last of its kind in Europe.
